Our Story
The Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple was organized in May of 1991 as an incorporated, independent Baptist church located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The church began with fifty families commissioned by The Kansas City Baptist Temple. The church was established with a commitment to reach families with the gospel and to build people to glorify the name of Jesus Christ.
Since 1991 the church has experienced tremendous blessings from God. The Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple has sent out three mission churches that are also seeing great growth and many blessings from God:
Louisburg Baptist Temple in Louisburg, KS
Del Valle Ministries in Juarez, Mexico
Valley Baptist Church in Grain Valley, MO
