Children’s Ministries
Nursery
Sunbeams – “Shining God’s Son on your child! ”The “Sunbeam” Nursery offers childcare for children from birth to 3 years of age. The nursery “Sunbeam” department offers childcare during all services. Our staff provides a safe, loving, fun and sanitary environment for all “little ones.” The church has facilities specifically designed for newborn through age two. The nursery is staffed with specially trained workers who adhere to strict rules of care and cleanliness.

6 weeks to 3 years old
Time: Childcare provided during all services
Location: The nursery meets in the lower level of the church building.
Sunday School
There are separate weekly classes for each grade level from 4 year olds through 5th grade. Sunday School is for teaching caring, prayer, support, and making friends.
Ages: 4 years old through 5th grade
Time: Sunday morning at 9:30 AM
Location: Fellowship Hall and Kiddie Kollege.
Children's Church
Children want to have fun while they learn! The Children’s Ministry uses art, drama, music, multi-media, and creative Bible lessons to engage students and help them establish a relationship with Jesus Christ. Teachers come equipped with a passion – a passion to reach, teach, and shepherd the children for Jesus.
Ages: 4 years old through the 5th grade
Time: Sunday morning at 11:00 AM
Location: Children’s church is located in the mobile building.
Temple Kids
Temple Kids is the children's ministry on Sunday evenings with games, activities, Bible memorization, and Bible lessons. Temple Kids classes are provided during the Sunday evening service at 5:30 in the fellowship hall. Children are trained in Bible verse memorization and Bible study. Games, activities, and the interaction of students provides an energetic, exciting, and educational environment.

Time: Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM

Children’s Classes
Wednesday evenings children’s classes are for all children through the 5th grade. Our Wednesday night children’s classes are a time where children are welcomed, valued, and cared for while learning more about Jesus, how to follow Him, and are taught more biblical truths that can help children make the right choices now and throughout their lives.
Ages: 3 years old through the 5th grade
Time: Wednesday night at 7:00 pm
Location: Kiddie Kollege
VBS Daycamp
Vacation Bible School Daycamp is held during the day one week each summer. Music, Bible lessons, games, science and crafts will fill each day. Meals and snacks are provided daily. Your child will leave each day refreshed by the Word of God, friendship and ready for bed!
When: July 17th-21st
Where: LSBT – 2614 NW Chipman Road, Lee’s Summit
Ages: 5 years old through the 6th grade
Time: 8:30 – 1:30
Cost: $15
