Jerry Finchum, Senior Pastor

Jerry has been on the LSBT Pastoral Team since 1997. Jerry’s wife Carrie also works at LSBT as the Director of the Kiddie Kollege Daycare. They have been married since 1996. On February 1st, 2023, Jerry Finchum was elected to be the new Senior Pastor of the Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple.

Jerry graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a Pastoral Degree in 1997. He began his work at LSBT in 1997 during a two year internship during which he worked in every area of ministry. In 2001 Jerry started the S.W.A.T. Team Ministry for children on Wednesday evenings. He also directs our Annual VBS Daycamp during the summer.
