The ESL Class

Are you new to the United States or need to brush up on your English speaking, reading and writing skills? Join our ESL Sunday School class on Sundays at 9:30 AM. (ESL – English as a Second Language).

We work with students of all ages, at all English communication levels. This class is a ministry of the church and therefore, is free to all in attendance. Church membership is not required. Brush up on your skills or start from the beginning, we would love to have you visit and learn with us.

Studies include:

• Grammar
• Verbs (Past and Present)
• Contractions
• Conversational English
• How to fill out job applications
• How to get along in a foreign country
• American Culture
• Homework is given to reinforce learning

Teacher: Heather Jeffers is fluent in Spainish and has studied in Mexico. She works as a Spainish translator for a nearby school.

Assistant Teacher: Kimberly Gardner is a Special Education teacher in a local school and has years of experience in the classroom working with students of all ages.
